Meet Our Team
Dr. Judith McClure DVM
Judith McClure graduated with an Honors Degree in Biology from Trent University in Ontario, Canada. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada. She started her veterinary career in Chicago and spent much of her time working as an emergency veterinarian at a 24 hour critical care facility on the north shore of Chicago. She also enjoyed part time general practice relief work and feline house call practice. She moved to San Diego in 2004 and continued to work as an emergency veterinarian. When she was not doing emergency work she enjoyed contract surgery work for the San Diego Humane Society in addition to relief general practice. She hopes that Sandy Paws Animal Clinic will allow her to foster longterm relationships with clients and their animal family members by providing advanced and affordable wellness care for a lifetime and emergency care when necessary.
Dr. Joe Ecker, DVM

In his spare time he volunteers at the San Diego Humane Society providing veterinary care for dogs, cats, and pocket pets in preparation for adoption. Dr. Ecker is happy to be back in his hometown of San Diego where he has the opportunity to provide top quality veterinary care for his community.
